Well, um … thank you for the nomination … I’ll have to consult with The eLFonian Board of Overly Optimistic Praise (eBOOP). They usually then confer with a subcommittee of The eLFonian Board of Underdeveloped Responses Panel (eBURP) in order to ensure that an appropriate response is developed. It’s a long, complicated process so I’ll have to get back to you … soon I hope but thank you. 🙂

eBOOP and eBURP have conferred and their decision is, sadly, a nay. I apologise for the delay in getting back to you but I do truly appreciate you nominating The eLFonian. I am humbled that you would even consider me. In reflecting on the decision of the powers that be, I have to agree as The eLFonian was created so that it could move through Cyberspace with the least amount of cosmic disturbance (eLFettes are a capricious lot and would certainly jump up and down to any diversion to the mission). I will continue to try and change their mind so perhaps, in the future, an award may sneak in unnoticed and without eLFette objection. 🙂
